Whom do you want to send to Salem to hobnob with other representatives sent in from around the state? If I recall correctly, there was a crack-head in the mix not long ago.
It would be fun to speculate about the candidates, but it is a tough job and someone has to do it. Who has the best stage presence? Who is poised and groomed for a public outing? Can we expect a talented, motivational speaker that can get a crowd excited with mere words that have no substance at all?
What your representative will do for you may be inconsequential however, look out for byzantine legislation that can only add complications to life. With any luck, we might get the right person who is smart enough to play with the players and leave others alone who do not need government interfering while they play with the dust dancing in sunbeams shining through the window.
