Three members of the Crane track team were among the 18 competitors at the annual decathlon competition held at Sweet Home High School on Friday and Saturday, March 28-29.

The Mustangs’ Matt Holloway placed second overall with 5,215 points, Jordan Conaway placed third with 4,785 points and Jeran Conaway was eighth with 4,033 points.

The overall winner was Dakotah Keys of Sweet Home, who was a national champion last year as a freshman.

The individual results for the three Crane athletes in each event are as follows:

100 meters — Jo. Conaway 12.2; Holloway 12.4; Je. Conaway12.8.
Long jump — Jo. Conaway 19’11.5”;  Holloway 18’0.5”; Je. Conaway 16’10.25”.
Shot put — Holloway 36’2.5”; Jo. Conaway 31’6.25”;  Je. Conaway 31’4.75”.
High jump — Jo. Conaway 5’10.75”; Je. Conaway 5’3”; Holloway 4’7”.
400m — Holloway 55.8; Jo. Conaway 57.7; Je. Conaway 58.7.
110m hurdles — Jo. Conaway 17.3; Holloway 17.9; Je. Conaway 20.4.
Discus — Holloway 116’3”; Je. Conaway 96’8”;      Jo. Conaway 66’10”.
Pole vault — Holloway 12’11.25”; Jo. Conaway 10’2”; Je. Conaway 9’2.25”.
Javelin — Holloway 147’5”; Je. Conaway 125’8”;    Jo. Conaway 114’11”.
1500m — Holloway 4:57.20; Jo. Conaway 5:23.10; Je. Conaway 5:50.50
