Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, Harney County will again have two Little League All-Star teams taking part in tournaments this summer. The 9-10-year-old All-Star tournament was held in Baker City June 28-July 2. Named to the team this year were (back row L-R) Ted Tiller, coach, Zach Young, Nathan Palmer, Ty Reid, Nicholas Modey, Taylor Klus, Larry Todd Norris, coach. Front row (L-R) Tyler Thomas, Brenden Keith, Talon Case, Ty Hueckman, Trace Tiller, Jordan Vermillion, Dallon Higgins. The 11-12-year-old All-Stars will be competing in Elgin July 5-11. Their first game will be against Union County at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, July 5.
