The 27th annual Chris Miller Memorial Steens Mountain Rim Run 10K will be held on Aug. 1. The annual Frenchglen Jamboree will be held on Aug. 1.  The day will include kids arena events, cowboy polo, hitchhiker race, cowhide race and  team branding. Sign up is at 8:30 a.m. and events will start at 9:30 a.m.  Food concessions will be available during the day, and a barbecue dinner will be held at the Frenchglen Hotel. Harney County Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 1 at Hines Park. Pick your produce, craft your craft, set up a table and buy or sell locally produced items.
