(Photo by RANDY PARKS)A high wind warning was issued to residents in Harney County on Monday, March 29, and the resulting wind wreaked havoc in Burns and Hines. The roof was torn off  cart sheds and landed on the No. 1 tee box at the Valley Golf Club in Hines . In Burns, a giant pine tree on the corner of West D Street and North Alvord Avenue fell on powerlines causing a power outage. Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) reported that there were a few power outages throughout the day, the longest lasting two hours and 15 minutes. About 400 people were affected.
