Two little girls were born on Monday, May 3, 2010. Jemma Lee Bennett was born at 8:44 p.m. and Rory Lin Bennett was born at 9:55 p.m. Both girls weighed 12 ounces. At only 20 weeks gestation, they were not old enough to stay in this world. Jemma waited for Rory and at 10:35 p.m., both girls went on to Heaven. The girls are survived by their parents, Levi and Joelle Bennett and sister, Jorah, of Hillsboro; grandparents, Rod and Linda Bennett of Hines and Mark and Jody Gordon of Albany; great- grandparents, Dale White of Burns, Bob Bennett of Sweet Home, and Bob and Jo Leipzig of Portland; aunts and uncle, Diana and Toby Lindstrom and Mandi Bennett of Corvallis, and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial garden is planned and services will be held when it is completed. Fir Lawn Mortuary in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
