Caleb Feist, a 2010 Burns High School (BHS) graduate, competed in two all-star series this summer.

June 12-13, Feist took part in the 24th annual Oregon High School Baseball Coaches Association 3A/2A/1A Senior All-Star Series at Linfield College in McMinnville.

The series consists of three nine-inning games between the East and West teams. The West won the two games on June 12, 11-10 and 6-5, and the East won the June 13 game 10-5.

Playing for the East team, Feist was 4-for-12, including a double, scored three runs, had two RBIs, walked once and was hit by a pitch.

BHS baseball coach Kevin Feist and Gary Chrisman of Bandon served as co-coaches for the East team.

On June 18-19, Feist competed for the South team in the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association Senior All-Stars basketball games.

Playing at Northwest Christian University in Eugene on June 18, the North won 96-71. Feist finished with four points, five rebounds and two assists.

The following day, the two teams squared off at Clackamas Community College and the North team came out on top 90-84. Feist dropped in nine points, had six rebounds and two assists.

Coaches for the South team were Gabe Fuentes of Nyssa and Terry Crabb of Harrisburg.

Feist will attend and play baseball at Linfield this fall.
