One Economy Corporation is hosting a series of public meetings (town halls) with local residents and community leaders in 20 different locations throughout Oregon. The town hall interactive format provides for direct community input ranging from how residents access and use the Internet to identifying the barriers to bringing Internet resources to their community. One of these events will be in Burns.The town hall in Burns will be held on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the Harney County Community Center, 484 N. Broadway in Burns, and is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
