Dr. Tom Fitzpatrick and the Mobile Health Clinic will be in  Fields on Sept. 2, in the Fields School gym from 9 a.m. to noon. This is a full-service health clinic which comes to you, and is sponsored by Harney District Hospital. Appointments are encouraged to ensure adequate time, supplies and equipment for your appointment, but walk-ins are always welcome. Call Harney District Hospital Outpatient Scheduling, 541-573-8605 to schedule an appointment and bring your insurance information to assure proper billing.

Car Seat Friday is held the first Friday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Burns City Hall. Harney Safe Kids hosts the car seat fitting station. Parents and other caregivers are invited to drop by over the lunch hour to have their car seats checked for proper fit. Parents are encouraged to bring their children, so that a technician can ensure the best possible fit. Car seats and booster seats will be available for purchase also. Oregon Old Time Fiddlers, District 9, meets the first, third and fourth Friday of each month. Call Micky at 541-573-2515, for time and place.

Reading Club meets at the Harney County Library each Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Open to second- through fifth-grade students. For more information, call 541-573-6670.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets each Friday at Symmetry Care at 5 p.m.

Narcotics Anonymous meets every Friday at Foursquare Church at 7 p.m.
