The Harney County Farm Bureau will hold its annual business meeting on Thursdsay, Nov. 10, at the Burns Elks Lodge. There will be a no-host social starting at 6 p.m., with the meeting and no-host prime rib dinner to follow at 7 p.m. Several speakers are lined up for the evening, covering the topics of sage grouse, wolf issues and pest/rodent control. Recertification credits will be available to anyone with a current pesticide applicators license. RSVP by Friday, Nov. 4 to Gabi at bowhunters@centurytel.net, or 541-573-7399.

An Alzheimers Support Group meets each Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Harney County Senior Center. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Kiwanis Club of Burns-Hines meets for a no-host luncheon each Thursday at Glory Days Pizza, 690 Oregon Avenue, at noon.

Tai Chi for Better Balance with Diane Rapaport is held each Thursday at Harney County Senior and Community Services,  from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  — free.

Take Off Pounds Sensibly meets each Thursday at Hines City Hall, 101 East Barnes, at noon. Call 541-573-2896.

Narcotics Anonymous meets each Thursday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.
