The Burns Elks Lodge will offer a free Thanksgiving dinner, Thursday, Nov. 24, at the Elks Lodge. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and dinner will be served from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Delivery service for shut-ins will also be available by calling 541-573-6170. Anyone wishing to make a donation of salads, desserts or monies is asked to call the Elks Lodge. Reservations are not required but are recommended so they can get an idea of how many people to expect.
Harney County Library will be closed for Thanksgiving.
Narcotics Anonymous meets each Thursday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.
