Harney County has another state wrestling champion.

Ethan Peasley-Richardson, 7, of the Hi Desert Mat Club, won all five of his matches to place first at 45 pounds in the Bantam division at the USA Wrestling / OWA Kid’s Collegiate State Championships on Saturday, Feb. 4, in Newberg.

Also placing for the local club were Harlan Gunderson, Adam White and Devan Dickie. Gunderson took third at 75 pounds in the Intermediate division, White placed fourth at 50 pounds in the Bantam division and Dickie came in fourth at 50 pounds in the Intermediate division.
