Harney District Hospital is sponsoring Dr. Tom Fitzpatrick and the Mobile Health Clinic in Drewsey Thursday, March 1, at the Drewsey Community Hall from 9 a.m. to noon and in Crane at the Crane School Modular Annex from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are encouraged to ensure adequate time, supplies and equipment for your appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. Call Harney District Hospital Outpatient Scheduling, 541-573-8605, to schedule an appointment. Bring your insurance information to assure proper billing.

A work session will be held Thursday, March 1, at the Harney County Library, 80 W. “D” St., beginning at 6:30 p.m. If you have a Kindle, Nook, Ipod or some other e-reader and would like to learn how to use it, this is a session you won’t want to miss. You can also check out e-books for free from the library.

Harney County Library’s Million Page Challenge ends Thursday, March 1, at 6 p.m. All pages must be turned in before the library closes to be counted. Top readers will be announced March 6.

A Ford Family Foundation Pathways to Community Vitality meeting will be held Thursday, March 1, at the Harney County Community Center. Sign-in is at 4:45 p.m. and the dinner and meeting will be from 5 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. For more information, contact Noelle Colby Rotell at 208-954-9564.

The Harney County Weed Control Program will be holding a study session for those interested in obtaining their herbicide applicators license Thursday, March 1, in the break room of the Harney County Courthouse beginning at 6 p.m. Call 541-573-8385 to register.

Burns Butte Sportsmen’s Club meets the first Thursday of each month at the State Office Building, 809 W. Jackson, at 7 p.m.
