Dorothy M. Lawrence of Eugene died May 25 of age-related causes.
Dorothy was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Fairfax, Okla., to Tom and Tina Beree Conroy. She married Aubrey F. Lawrence on June 19, 1937, in Claremore, Okla. He died June 12, 1975.
She graduated from high school. She worked in the office at Edward Hines Lumber Co.
Dorothy also was a part of the “Rosie the Riveter” crew at Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa, Okla.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Clark and Cindy Zreliak, both of Eugene, and Sally Westmark-Seymour of Des Moines, Wash.; a brother, Tom Conroy of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16. The service will be at Allison Park Christian Church, 1520 Echo Hollow Road in Eugene.
Burial was held May 31 at Burns Cemetery in Burns.
Arrangements are by Rest-Haven Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances may be made to the Christian Church Gift Shop, 125 S. Buena Vista, Burns, OR 97720.
