The 2012 Chris Miller Memorial Steens Rim Run and Walk will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, with the walk starting at 9:30 a.m. and the run at 10 a.m. The 10K course will start near the Jackman Park Campground and finish at the East Rim Overlook.
Diabetes Support Group meets at the Harney County Health Building, 420 N. Fairview, the first Saturday of each month at 2 p.m.
Farmer’s Market is held each Saturday throughout the summer from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Hines Park.
Narcotics Anonymous meets each Saturday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.
