Alberta Anderson Creamer died Oct. 29 at Harney District Hospital with her children by her side.
Alberta was born on Dec. 20, 1922, in Happy Valley (Anderson Valley). She grew up in Diamond where she attended grade school. She attended high school in Crane, graduating in 1942.
Alberta moved to Burns in 1961. She went to work for Edward Hines Lumber Company in 1963 and worked there until her retirement in 1985.
After retirement, she enjoyed her family and treasure hunting at yard sales.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Martha (Marx) Anderson; brothers, Jack and John Anderson; and sister, Leona (Toots) Arnold.
She is survived by her sons, Walt Mace and Wess Mace (Mary Anne); daughter, Sharon Wilson (Jim); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Per her request, there will be no services.
