Joyce Glee Newton, 77, of Burns died Oct. 27 at her daughter’s home in Bend.
Joyce was born to Charles and Celestia (Mow) Rogers on June 16, 1935, in Klamath Falls. She graduated from high school in Mullinville, Kan., and then moved back to Oregon in 1954, the same year she married her husband, Vernon Newton.
Joyce was a devout member of the Church of God in Bend and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Joyce is survived by her six children, Roselee (husband Bobby) Ostrander of Bend, Celestia (husband Kerry) Hodges of Dayton, Nev., Tammy Anglesey of Eugene, Venetta (husband Todd) Bigelow of Burns, Mark (wife Christy) Newton of Burns and Daniel Newton of Riddle; and brother, Ralph Rogers of Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
An urn committal was held at La Pine Community Cemetery.
