This will be the final segment of the film, “Challenges,” which examines the severity and origins of the obesity epidemic, as well as opportunities for communities to fight it. A Rangeland Protection Association hearing will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Frenchglen Hotel in Frenchglen for the Oregon Board of Forestry to hear testimony from the public on forming a cooperative, non-profit, landowner-directed fire association that would provide fire protection to rangelands in portions of central Harney County.
