Separate sealed bids for construction of the Burns Municipal Airport Fire Suppression System will be received by the City of Burns at the City Hall Building located at 242 South Broadway, Burns, Oregon 97720 until 2:00 p.m. local time based on the “Official Clock” at the City Recorder’s Office at Burns City Hall on Wednesday March 27, 2013, and then publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter in the City Hall conference room. Installation of a 1,000-gallon per minute fire pump station in accordance with NFPA 20. The fire pump station includes a pre-manufactured building enclosure pre-assembled with all required wiring, controls, and appurtenances.
Installation of new fire water distribution pipelines and hydrants.
Site improvements including but not limited to: access road, fencing with entrance gate, site grading, yard piping, and surface restoration.
Coordination and installation of a new electrical service to the newly constructed facilities including buried electrical facilities at the site.
