A hay growers workshop, hosted by the Harney County Cooperative Weed Management Area (CWMA) will be held Thursday, April 25, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Harney County Courthouse. Topics will include weed control in alfalfa and meadow hay, the Special Local Needs label for zinc phosphide as a ground squirrel control, and a demonstration of proper application methods for zinc phosphide treated cabbage leaves.
