Harney County Safe Communities will be holding a Car Seat Clinic Friday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Burns Fire Department. Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be there to check and sell car seats at cost.
American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive in the local area Sept. 18-20. The blood drive will be held at the Church of Latter-day Saints, 600 N. Saginaw in Hines Friday, Sept. 20, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or go to redcrossblood.org.

A recovery group, “Celebrate Recovery,” meets each Friday at the Harney County Church of The Nazarene, 311 Roe Davis Ave. in Hines.
