The Chamber Music Society will be holding their Honors Scholarship concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 in the Burns High School cafeteria. The concert is being held to benefit the music scholarships for area youth. Donations will be accepted.

 
Harvest America, a live nationwide event, streamed from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia to thousands of participating locations across the country, will be shown at the Desert Historic Theatre Sept. 28-29 at 6:30 p.m. The event features performances by top Christian artists, and a clear gospel message by Greg Laurie.

 
Burns Butte Sportmen’s Club is sponsoring a “Welcome to Fall” merchandise shoot. The fun and games shoot will be on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the trap range on Radar Hill. Practice will be at 9:30 a.m.. Games begin at  10 a.m. All levels of shooters are welcome. Lunch will be available.

 
Farmers Market from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hines City Park. The market will be held each Saturday into October or until the first hard frost ends the growing season.
