The Desert Riders invite the public to a short dedication of the kneeling soldier sculpture in the Burns Cemetery at 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 10. The sculpture is located near the veterans’ flagpole in the cemetery.

A free community dinner, eat-in or take-out, will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m Sunday, Nov. 10, at St Andrew’s Episcopal/Peace Lutheran Church at the corner of N. Diamond and West A streets in Burns. For more information, call 541-573-2802.

Oregon Old Time Fiddlers, District 9, holds a potluck and jam session the second Sunday of each month at Harney County Senior Center, 17 S. Alder, October through May at 1 p.m. with music and dancing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets each Sunday at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns, for 12X12 study at 7 p.m.
