The Harney County Cultural Coalition will meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Harney County Library. Items for discussion/action will include preparing to review grant applications. The public is invited.

Harney County Farm Bureau will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 5 p.m. in the basement meeting room of the courthouse. Pizza and soda will be served.

The Burns High School (BHS) band will hold their fall tri-tip dinner to go Wednesday, Nov. 13. Dinners may be picked up from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Burns Elks Lodge. All proceeds will go the BHS band to supplement their limited budget.

The Cancer Support Group is open to all cancer patients, survivors, family and support persons. Come learn and share about all types of cancer, ways to manage symptoms, treat side effects and make connections to help you navigate cancer care. The support group will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Hines City Hall meeting room.

Burns City Council meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Burns City Hall, 242 S. Broadway, at 6 p.m.

A Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect class will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the CCR&R office, 503 S. Diamond in Burns. The class is free and open to the public. To register or for more information, call 541-573-3122.

Non-denominational Bible services are held at 7 p.m. each Wednesday at Hines City Hall, with ministers Rose Davidson and Cheryl Emborg officiating.

Bring babies to Lapsit Storytime at Harney County Library, 80 W. “D” St., each Wednesday at 10 a.m. Enjoy music, stories, rhymes and fingerplays especially for babies and toddlers.

Storytime for preschoolers is scheduled at the Harney County Library, 80 W. “D” St., each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Contact the Harney County Library for more information, 541-573-6670.

A Women’s AA meeting is held every Wednesday at noon at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.

Burns Elks Lodge, 118 N. Broadway, meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets each Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.

ALANON, a support group for friends and families of alcoholics, meets each Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns. Please use the back door on the south side of the building. All interested are welcome.
