Burns City Council, which normally meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, will have one meeting this month Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Burns City Hall, 242 S. Broadway, at 6 p.m.
The Thunder Riders second annual toy run and spaghetti dinner will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Burns Elks Lodge. Drawings begin at 7 p.m. The event is a benefit for the local Tree of Joy program.
The Harney County Cultural Coalition will meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Harney County Library. Items for discussion/action will include review/award of grant applications and planning an HCCC social event for 2014.
The Cancer Support Group is open to all cancer patients, survivors, family and support persons. Come learn and share about all types of cancer, ways to manage symptoms, treat side effects and make connections to help you navigate cancer care.
