Harney County Soil and Water Conservation District board of directors meets the fourth Thursday of each month at the USDA Service Center in Hines at 4:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Harney Herdsman Sheep 4-H club will hold its first meeting of the new 4-H year at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, in the small meeting room in the courthouse basement. They will be discussing club projects and goals. Anyone interested in having a market lamb or a sheep breeding project is welcome to attend.
