The Burns Hilanders winter sports teams were honored at the season-ending awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 5.

Student-athletes were presented with letters, scholar-athlete certificates, all-league honors and special awards.

The special award winners for each team are as follows:

Boys basketball

Most Inspirational — Ty Reid

Most Improved — Chase Patterson

Most Outstanding — Austin Feist

Most Promising Freshman — Scott Davies

All-League Honors — Feist, 1st Team, Player of the Year; Patterson, 2nd Team; Trace Tiller, Ty Hueckman, Honorable Mention.

For the boys JV team: Most Improved — Talon Case

Most Inspirational — Boyd Vinson

Most Outstanding — Davies

Girls basketball

Most Inspirational — Baylee Hanner

Most Improved — Hailey West

Most Outstanding — Catherine Clemens

Most Promising Freshman — Clemens

All-League Honors — Clemens, 1st Team; Adina Thomas, 2nd Team; Kylee Fisher, Jordon Long, Honorable Mention.

Wrestling

Most Improved Underclassman — Dallon Higgins

Most Improved Upperclassman — Garrett Blackburn

Most Outstanding — Seth Nonnenmacher

Jeremy Johnson Most Heart Award — Austin Ryder

Cheerleading

Most Improved — Hannah Parks
