Doug was born July 30, 1957, in Burns, to Alfred Whiteaker and Flossie Woolsey Whiteaker.
He graduated from Burns Union High School in 1976. Doug served one tour with the U.S. Navy as a 3rd Class Petty Officer. After returning home, Doug was employed at Harney County Road Department for 33 years. In 1981, Doug married Glena (Fleury) Whiteaker. Doug loved being outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, camping, ATVs and campfires.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Glena Whiteaker; daughter, Shannon Whiteaker of Baker City; brothers and sisters, Maxine Seadschlag, John Whiteaker, Jim Whiteaker, Darlene Williams, Janice Martin, Debbie Graven and Allen Whiteaker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Alfred Whiteaker, and sister, Ruby Eggleston.
As requested by Doug, there will be no services.
