The Harney County High Desert Wheelers second annual Show & Shine will be held 3-5 p.m. May 16 in the Goodies Galore/NAPA parking lot. Information will be available on the Radar OHV area, as well as what the club can do to keep the county open for motorized recreation. Anyone who uses an ATV, snowmobile, motorcycle, SUV or full-size rig on public lands is invited to participate.

Writer-in-Residence, Angela Allen, will be reading from her book Saturday Afternoons, and showing photos of her time in Harney County on Saturday, May 16, at the Harney County Community Center, from 4-8 p.m. During this farewell celebration, a meal will be served. A workshop will be available for those interested.

Alanon holds an open meeting each Saturday at Foursquare Church at 7 p.m.
