A Tea Party to discuss issues such as Oregon tax initiatives, land use, gun rights, education, freedom of speech, patriotism, your vote counts and to speak your mind is planned for Jan. 9, at the Burns Elks Lodge from noon to 5 p.m. Special guests will include Senator Ted Ferrioli, Oregonians in Action, Freedom Works, Cascade Policy Institute, Oregon Firearms Federation, Patrick Henry and Thomas Paine, The 9/12 Project, Voter Impact Project and more.
