Summer Bike Jam will be held in the Burns High School parking lot on June 11, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration for the 2011 Harney County Library Summer Reading Program will be held on June 11, from noon to 4 p.m. T-shirts will be given to registrants while supplies last. For more information, call 541-573-6670.

Obsidian Days will be held June 10, 11 and 12 at Hines Park.

Harney District Hospital will offer a free Childbirth Education class on Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the HDH Board Annex. Learn about prenatal care, the birth experience, breastfeeding and infant care. To register or for more information, call Toni Siegner at 541-573-8310. Lunch from Grand Street Café is included.

Free Fishing Day at Burns Pond will be held on June 11.

The annual Harney County Pioneer Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 11, at the Harney County Senior Center, 17 S. Alder St. in Burns. Registration will begin at 10 a.m., a potluck lunch will be served at noon, and the program will begin at 1 p.m. For more information, call Bill Allen at 541-573-6964 or Mildred Fine at 541-573-6390.

The Harney County Radio Association meets every second Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. in the basement meeting room of the Harney County Courthouse. All amateur radio operators and interested parties are welcome.

Narcotics Anonymous meets each Saturday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.
