All veterans and their families are invited to the annual Veterans Picnic in Hines Park on Aug. 13, at noon. This picnic is sponsored by the American Legion Harney County Post #63 and the Ladies Auxillary. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. Bring a salad or dessert to share and a folding chair.
Harney District Hospital is sponsoring a bike repair clinic by bicycle technician David Seamons of Boise Bike Wrench, on Aug. 13 and Aug. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the HDH Emergency Medical Services parking lot.
