Burns Butte Sportsmen’s Club will present the “Last Chance” sporting clay event (100 birds) on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Radar Hill Range. Registration will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Shooting will start with the sign up of the first squad. Lewis Class Rules will be used (shoot with your own level). Door prizes have been donated by B&B Sporting Goods and Great Basin Sporting Goods. Lunch will be available.
The Ambulance Chaser Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17. All proceeds will be used for a replacement ambulance. The ride will feature two courses, both beginning and ending at Triangle Park — a family-friendly 8.8 mile Lifesaver Loop or a more challenging 16.6 mile Code Blue ride. The Farmers Market is held each Saturday at Hines Park from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Narcotics Anonymous meets each Saturday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.
