The Harney County Cattlewomen will hold their annual Christmas brunch on Saturday, Dec. 17, at Delcy Currey’s home, 979 N. Court Street in Burns, at 10 a.m. In lieu of a gift exchange, a collection will be taken to purchase beef for the Elks Christmas baskets. The Great Basin Saddle Club will hold their year-end awards banquet on Dec. 17, at 5:30 p.m., at Glory Day’s Pizza. The banquet will include a $10 gift exchange. The agenda will include electing new officers and voting on changes for 2012.

Burns Butte Sportsmens Club will hold a fun and games Christmas trap shoot on Saturday, Dec. 17, at the trap range on Radar Hill. Practice will begin at 9:30 a.m., with shooting to start at 10 a.m. All levels of shooters are welcome. Lunch will be available.

Narcotics Anonymous meets each Saturday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.
