An All-American Boxing Club Show has been rescheduled for March 6 at the Old Camp Casino. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with bouts to start at 7:30 p.m.

Burns Butte Sportsman Club will host a March Mystery Merchandise Shoot on March 6. Practice will be held from 9:30-10 a.m., with the shooting to start at 10 a.m. All levels of shooters are welcome. Lunch will be available.

Diabetes Support Group meets at the Harney County Health Building, 420 North Fairview, the first Saturday of each month at 2 p.m.

ALANON meets each Saturday at 7 p.m. at Four Square Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.

HDH Sports & Physical Therapy will offer a free athletic injury clinic at that facility, 559 West Washington, every Monday from 5 to 6 p.m. A physical therapist will assess and treat athletic injuries and provide education for athletes and parents on self management of injuries. Burns Fire Dept. meets each Monday at the Burns Fire Hall at 7 p.m.

The Hines Volunteer Fire Department meets at the Hines Fire Hall each Monday at 7 p.m. (except the last Monday of the month). Prospective members may contact Fire Chief Bob Spence at 541-573-7477 or 541-573-2251.

Narcotics Anonymous meets each Monday at 7 p.m. at Foursquare Church, 74 S. Alvord, Burns.

Harney County Chamber Music Society Choir meets the second and fourth Tuesday, September-November and January-March. The choir meets in the Burns High School band room, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., with Marianne Andrews directing. Singers ages 13-up are welcome.

Harney County Fair Board meets the second Tuesday of each month in the Hibbard Building at the Harney County Fairgrounds at 7 p.m.

The Harney County Amateur Radio Association will conduct the Amateur Radio Technician License Class starting Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. It will run for seven weeks and be held in the basement of the Harney County Courthouse. All interested are welcome, including high school students.

Harney County Safe Communities & Safe Kids Coalition meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, at noon at Figaro’s Pizza.

Harney County Health District board of directors meets the fourth Wednesday of each month in the board conference room of the hospital, in the entrance off N. Grand at 6 p.m.

Late Night at Harney County Library will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25. Teens, grades 6-12 are welcome to hang out with friends after hours, 7-9 p.m. and enjoy music, snacks, games and crafts. The evening is free.

The Blue Mountain Eagle is sponsoring two meetings to address concerns about the Aryan Nations’ plan to move to Grant County. Both meetings will be held on Feb. 26. The first will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Canyon City Community Center; and the second will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Canyon City Community Center. Two speakers from Northern Idaho will speak: Norman Gissel, attorney, and  Tony Stewart, human rights activist. All are welcome.

Burns-Hines School District #3 is inviting the public to take part in a strategic planning session to be held at the Harney County ESD, 25 Fairview Heights on Friday, Feb. 26, and Saturday, Feb. 27. Friday’s session will begin at 6 p.m., and Saturday’s will start at 9 a.m..The purpose of the session is for staff, community members and other interested members of the public to help shape the future of the Burns-Hines School District.
