Teen Night will be held Friday, Feb. 17, at Harney County Library from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Games, crafts, music, snacks and more will be offered. Open to grades 6-12.

Rollerskating! Friday, Feb. 17, at the fairgrounds. Slow (beginners) skate is 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; regular skate is 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Helmets required for youths 12 and under.

A free Chili Feed will be held by the Harney County CattleWomen at Les Schwab Tire Center Saturday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A “Simply February” Trap Shoot will be hosted by Burns Butte Sportsmen’s Club Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Burns Butte Trap Range on Radar Hill. Practice is from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and games begin immediately after. All levels of shooters are welcome, and lunch will be available.

Harney County Library will be closed Monday, Feb. 20, in observance of President’s Day.

Harney District Hospital will hold a free Physical Therapy Sports Injury Clinic Monday evening, Feb. 20. Students experiencing muscle or joint pain due to sports activities will be seen by a physical therapist to assess injuries and offer recommendations for treatment. To take advantage of this free clinic, call the physical therapy office at 541-573-1543 to schedule a time to be seen.

The Burns Lions Club meets every Monday at noon at the Burns Elks Lodge. Those interested in serving the community are welcome.

Communities PRIDE meets every Monday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Pine Room banquet room. Those interested in the communities of Harney County are welcome to attend and participate in this forum for community involvement for community benefit.

Winterbash, Crane FFA’s biggest fund raiser of the year will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, at Crane Union High School, beginning at 4 p.m.

A Valentine Bake Sale Fund Raiser will be held by the Friskey Fleas 4-H Dog Club Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Thriftway to raise funds to pay for a judge at their Invitational Dog Show held in June.

Let’s have a car club!! If you are interested in being a part of a car club, there will be a meeting at Glory Days Pizza banquet room Saturday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. Come one, come all. Even if you don’t have a car, you can still be a part of what Harney County has been missing for many years.

The Harney County Radio Association meets every second Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. in the basement meeting room of the Harney County Courthouse. All amateur radio operators and interested parties are welcome.
