Celebrate SWAN Day at Harney County Library, 80 W. D St. in Burns, Saturday, March 31, from noon unttil 4 p.m. Local women artists will be on hand to display and share their works of art with the public. There will be exhibits of photography, beading, collages, drawings, handmade soaps, writing, sewing, and much more by the women of our community. Free and open to the public.

“How the West Was Fun,” a play by James L. Seay, will be presented by Diamond Community Theater Saturday, March 31, at 7 p.m. at the Diamond School Gymnasium. A late night snack will be available at no cost. Music will be by the .06 Ought Six Band featuring the Johnson Brothers.

March Madness, a fun and games trap shoot hosted by Burns Butte Sportsmen’s Club, will be held Saturday, March 24, at the Burns Butte Shooting Range on Radar Hill. Practice is at 9:30 a.m. with shooting starting at 10 a.m. All level of shooters are welcome. Lunch will be available.

The Master Gardening Program will have a class on Pruning Fruit Trees Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Harney County Courthouse. There is a cost for the class. Call 541-573-2506 for more information.

Harney District Hospital will hold a free Physical Therapy Sports Injury Clinic Monday evening, March 26. Students experiencing muscle or joint pain due to sports activities will be seen by a physical therapist to assess injuries and offer recommendations for treatment. To take advantage of this free clinic, call the physical therapy office at 541-573-1543 to schedule a time to be seen.

A Grief Support Group will be held the second and fourth Monday of each month by Harney County Hospice and Rev. Jean Hurst during the day as well as the evening. For more information, call Harney County Hospice, 541-573-8360.
