Teens, wear a costume and celebrate Halloween at Harney County Library Friday, Oct. 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A prize will be given for the best costume. Free and open to youths in grades 6-12.

A Halloween Bash for youth in grades Kindergarten through fifth will be held at Harney County Library Saturday, Oct. 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a haunted house, games and food. Parents must accompany all kindergartenders and first-graders. Don’t forget to wear a costume!

A Fish-Printing Workshop will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. until noon in the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church meeting hall at the corner of Diamond and ‘A’ Street in Burns. Arena-style parent/teacher conferences for Hines Middle School (HMS) students will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the HMS gym.
