Harney County Farm Bureau will have its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, April 11, at 5 p.m. in the basement meeting room of the courthouse. Pizza and soda will be served.

Harney District Hospital will hold a free Physical Therapy Sports Injury Clinic Monday evenings, April 16. Students experiencing muscle or joint pain due to sports activities will be seen by a physical therapist to assess injuries and offer recommendations for treatment. To take advantage of this free clinic, call the physical therapy office at 541-573-1543 to schedule a time to be seen.

Communities PRIDE meets every Monday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Pine Room banquet room. Those interested in the communities of Harney County are welcome to attend and participate in this forum for community involvement for community benefit.

The Harney County Community Response Team (CRT) meets the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Community Center, 484 N. Broadway. The CRT consists of anyone interested in what is going on in the county as it relates to business and industry. County, city and tribal leaders provide general information to the public regarding existing programs and recruitment efforts.

Spring is here and it’s time for spring cleaning at the Harney County Musuem to get it ready for visitors. The historical society is inviting anyone who would like to volunter to come Friday, April 6, from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Good Friday, Friday, April 6, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. People of all faiths are welcome to use the Pioneer Presbyterian Church sanctuary for individual prayer and meditation. The church is at the corner of West Washington and North Diamond. Guided meditation materials will be available if desired.
