The Harney County Senior & Community Services Center’s annual Christmas Bazaar will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the senior center, 17. S. Alder in Burns.
“The Tortoise vs. The Hare,” a Missoula Children’s Theater production featuring the youth of Harney County and sponsored by the Harney Youth Theater Guild, will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, in the Lincoln auditorium. Auditions will be held Monday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m. in the former Lincoln Junior High School gymnasium.
The Hospice Wine and Food Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Burns Elks Lodge. All proceeds will benefit local hospice care.

A turkey shoot, sponsored by the Burns Butte Sportsman’s Club, will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Trap Range on Radar Hill. There will be activities for all levels of trap shooters. Practice will start at 9:30 a.m., with events beginning at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome, and lunch will be available.
The Crane FFA Alumni will hold a trap shoot Saturday, Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Doug and Debbie Lundy’s home near Crane. Proceeds will help fund the scholarship for a Crane graduating senior provided by the alumni each year. To get to the Lundy home, turn south at milemarker 21 on Highway 78, and watch for signs.
