A Christmas Fun and Games Trap Shoot will be held by Burns Butte Sportsmen’s Club Saturday, Dec. 15, at the trap range on Radar Hill, with practice beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the shooting at 10 a.m. All levels of trap shooters are welcome. Lunch will be available.

Carols by Candlelight will be presented by the Harney County Church of the Nazarene Sunday, Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the church, 311 Roe Davis Ave. in Hines. The public is invited to celebrate the Christmas season with the Christmas story told in word, carols and song. Admission is free, and refreshments will follow.

A free community dinner (eat in or take out, no strings attached) will be offered Sunday, Dec. 16, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Burns Christian Church, 125 S. Buena Vista in Burns. For more information, call 541-573-2216.
