An Alumni Night dinner will be served from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in the Burns High School cafeteria during the Hilanders’ home basketball games against Union. All Hilander fans are encouraged to wear their school colors and enjoy the fun.

Sip for The Cure. Show your support for local cancer patients at the 7th annual Sip for The Cure  Saturday, Feb. 7, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Harney County Community Center. Harney County Arts and Crafts Association will meet Saturday, Feb. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the basement meeting room at the courthouse. Barbara Skillman, will lead a workshop making bracelets from rubber bands – they are very clever and better looking than they sound! The public is invited.

A Veterans lunch will be served at the Hampton Station Cafe the first Saturday of each month beginning March 1. RSVP  by calling Shelley at 541-420-0828.

Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance Program (SHIBA) trained volunteers will be at the Harney County Senior and Community Services Center, 17 S. Alder, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. each Tuesday to help with Medicare insurance needs or medications you cannot afford.
